Purple Diesel is Cali Connection's Pre-'98 Bubba Kush crossed with the Original Sour Diesel clone.

The breeding goal was to create a purple plant with an extreme diesel taste. The original Sour Diesel clone was crossed with the Bubba Pre-98 to emphasize the purple color inherent in the Bubba Kush with some more of the hash influence to complement the diesel taste and giving diesel flavored hash.

Purple Diesel is a very good-yielding plant with a relatively fast flowering time of 63-66 days. It displays more of an Indica hybrid structure.
