ORIGIN STORY
A true American legend.
Alaskan Thunder Fuck (ATF), also known as Matanuska Thunder Fuck (MTF), is a 1970s–1980s era cultivar believed to have originated in the Matanuska Valley of Alaska, often associated with a breeder known as “Tiny” from the Trapper Creek region.
Originally referred to by some as Trapper Creek Hash Plant, this cultivar became one of the most iconic northern-grown strains to ever circulate in the lower 48.
Built for extreme climates.
Forged in cold nights and short seasons.

TERPENE PROFILE
This is not candy.
This is alpine fuel.
Primary Notes:
- Sharp pine resin
- Lemon zest
- Cooling menthol
- Classic skunk
- Light diesel undertone
The menthol note is what separates true ATF phenotypes — that crisp, almost icy inhale layered over forest pine.
Commonly terpene dominant in:
- Terpinolene
- Pinene
- Myrcene
STRUCTURE & APPEARANCE
• Large, dense, heavily frosted buds
• Bright orange pistils
• Thick trichome coverage
• Spear-shaped colas
• Strong vertical growth
Afghani influence tightened the structure compared to pure sativas while maintaining stretch and vigor.
Outdoor Proven.
Greenhouse Strong.
Handles cooler environments better than modern dessert hybrids.
